Many kits out there have only 1 gas shock per door, this kit has 2 to lift the heaviest of doors and will not wear out like some other kits single gas shocks can over time.
The Protocol kit is a weld-on system, but adjustments can be made to convert this kit into bolt on kit.
Dont be scared by a weld on kit, even bolt on kits should be welded. If not then they have a tendency to losen up and need to be re-adjusted over and over by taking the fender off to re adjust the bolts. If welded you will never have to re-adjust your doors and they will open and close hassle free forever.
